It’s beautifully fragrant and enticing on the nose with sweet cherry, toasted spice, game, floral and cedar characters. The palate delivers excellent weight and roundness, wonderfully supported by rich texture and silky tannins, making it flavoursome and elegant at the same time.

Ross Mackay

Vines grown using organic practices although not certified organic. Dry farmed, sustainably grown, using low-intervention techniques. From tending the vines, to hand-picking the fruit, to handcrafting the wine in small batch ferments - all viticulture and winemaking is carried out by Ross and Eva on-site.

All winemaking takes place on site. Sustainably made, using low-intervention and traditional techniques. Small batch, mainly 1 - 1.5 ton ferments. Handpicked at 23 -23.5 brix. 10% whole bunch, with a mixture of wild and inoculated ferments. 14 – 15 days on skins, basket pressed to French oak barriques (20% new). Alc. 13.7%.
