Viticulture
The vineyard is in a warm, frost-free site that ripens early in the season and produces an intensely fruity and fragrant style of wine, with a soft, juicy texture and great overall balance.
Vinification
The fruit was machine-harvested and immediately pressed at the winery. A cool fermentation followed using aromatic yeast, with a small portion being fermented in a large oak cuve to add a textural element to the wine. After a short period on yeast lees, the wine was clarified and filtered
