Description

Aromas of lifted, ripe tropical fruit amongst a mingling of citrus peel with exotic guava in the back ground. The delicate oak influence underpins the fruit on the nose and in the palate gives an immediate softness and accessibility. This swiftly fills the mouth and the balanced acid structure emerges through the folds of supple savoury and fruit sweet characters. The finish is long and, delicious.

Sarah Jessica Parker blend her 2020 vintage of Sauvignon Blanc

Product Range: Invivo X, Sarah Jessica Parker wines

Vineyard

From select parcels grown in the Awatere Valley in Marlborough. The glacial alluvial soils of these valleys forming the backbone of the classic Marlborough Sauvignon blanc terroir. This combined with a maritime climate and vast diurnal temperature variation this region is custom designed for aromatic, crisp but bold flavoured Sauvignon blanc.

Winemaker

Rob Cameron and Sarah Jessica Parker

Viticulture

Awatere Valley river terraces with complex soil homogenization of large greywacke rocks within organic matter / loam media

Vinification

The fruit was harvested at night, de-stemmed and crushed then cold settled for 48 hours. Clear juice was racked and solids vacuum filtered back to the free run. A number of yeasts were used to help create a spectrum of aroma’s and texture with average fermentation lasting around 3 weeks. The tanks were then topped up and stirred (battonage) without sulphur for 10-12 weeks. After the wine had gained some lees texture it was lightly fined with Casein and Isinglass and stabilized for bottling.
